This place has a bit of everything.
If there's something you need then it's worth popping in here for a look as it has greetings cards, stationary, wool, fixings, garden bits and bobs, DIY items etc etc .. and the prices were pretty reasonable too.

I.ll never shop anywhere else for DIY if I can help it. There in door wall paint is excellent coverage at a pitence of main brands. Great prices and not rubbish. All you need that the big boy DIY seller's sell.

I live a long way from my nearest Proper job, and I was pleased to find this one on a visit to Street/Clarks village.
Even better, we were looking for some 5 finger oven gloves in the high-end kitchen stores only to be directed to Proper job. When we went in, the very polite assistant took us straight to the shelf and handed them to us. That's what I call a Proper job

Really great store this with very friendly staff, they basically sell everything! I needed some butane canisters for my gas heater and they sold them in packs of 4 at £5 which is ridiculously cheap, they also have an impressive range of tools and electrical bits too lol its very easy to walkout with half the shop there so much to choose from 😁

One of my favourite stores! Proper job is only in the south west, it’s something I’ve popped into over the year visiting the area so when I moved here it was just perfect. Proper job has everything you’ll need for every occasion. Everything is reasonably priced, or decent quality and variety. Their craft and diy section is fab. They’re also brilliant for intense! Also the staff at this store are wonderful :) really kind and friendly.

The profile picture is of Glastonbury. It's a cheap store with cheap goods. You get what you pay for. I think it's great and the staff are lovely.
However be prepared to que, apparently filling shelves is more important that serving the customers that are emptying them.

Love the guys in this store, they are always so helpful. They pop into where I work for lunch and I pop in there when I need something. I call this store an updated handyman's store as it has most things. Two levels with stairs and a lift.
