Highly recommend Gav as a personal trainer! Even though Gav is based in Somerset and I’m in London, he’s made remote training feel incredibly personal and effective. He created a tailored home and gym workout plan for me on Kahunas, which I follow three times a week. The app lets him see when I’ve completed exercises, and my weekly check-ins to track progress and adjust as needed. Gav is consistently supportive—he checks in regularly to make sure the workouts are still working for me and offers thoughtful advice on nutrition too. Thanks to his guidance, I’ve been able to maintain my weight and fitness over the past few years. His approach is flexible, motivating, and genuinely caring. A fantastic trainer who really knows how to help you stay on track, wherever you are. Thanks Gav!

If there is a local PT, I would recommend it would be Gavin! Over the last 14 months, Gavin has been my main trainer at holistic. I have set myself many goals over the past 12 months and Gavin has been the anchor in getting me to achieve them. Gavin started by working with me running to achieve the half marathon target I put on myself. As well as this I have had more PT sessions with Gavin to achieve self desired heavy weight lifting goals, teaching me the techniques and skills to do this. With this man's help I have achieved two half marathon's and a spartan. Everything from a basic conversation getting through hard mental health times to how to use the correct muscles to achieve a pull-up to just showing you a good route to run! Gavin is currently working with me and my partner on our nutrition, and with his knowledge, we are smashing this! He is a great guy to be with and motivates and guides you through the hard times. Can't thank him enough!

I started training with Gavin a little over 12 months ago in group fitness sessions at Holistic, where I found Gav to be an extremely knowledgeable, patient and motivating trainer. 5 weeks ago me and my partner started on a 10 week personal training and fitness plan with the aim to increase muscle mass and reduce body fat, this included not just extra training sessions but also looking at nutrition which is not something I've focused on much before but has made a huge difference in reaching my weekly goals. Working with Gavin has really improved my technique on a lot of exercises, he does a great job of adjusting the way he explains things or changing his instructions to made sure you understand how to best complete certain things. He has really helped build my confidence within a gym environment and my strength and ability has improved a huge amount even in just 5 weeks. I would absolutely recommend Gavin as a trainer!

I’ve been training with Gavin for nearly 6 months now, and I can’t recommend him enough! I first attended the holistic fitness group classes, which were fantastic, and then decided to add personal training to my week for more individualised support. As someone with hypermobility, I’ve always struggled with technique and posture, but Gavin’s expertise has made all the difference. He’s not only knowledgeable and understanding but also incredibly creative with workouts that are tailored to my needs. The gym has a great variety of equipment, allowing for endless combinations of exercises that keep things fresh and challenging. On top of that, Gavin helps me with my food diary to keep my nutrition in check and offers an app for clients to log daily check-ins, which keeps me on track. He stays in touch throughout the week and genuinely cares about my progress. Iv gained so much strength and confidence through exercise. If you’re looking for a dedicated, supportive trainer, full of knowledge and experience Gavin is the person you’re looking for :)

Gavin is the best! Kind, considerate and so knowledgeable in health science. I've progressed quickly in my weight lifting and fitness, all thanks too Gavin's expert advice. You couldn't ask for a better person to work towards your fitness goals with 💪
