I chose Chubb Bullied from four solicitors locally. From the first meeting I was made aware of the likley out come of my complicated divorce proceedings and the approximate costs involved. This company is a member of the Resolution f which encourages constructive dialog between both parties to find a constructive way forward avoiding costly unessasary conflict (unlike some others)! I also used this company for conveyancing on the sale of land which was very good. If you are looking for a solicitor that doesn't dtag its feet, avoids very costly unessasary arguments these are the ones to seriously consider.

Very poor, except when it came to sending account. I could have read the auction pack myself being fully literate, what I thought I was paying for was professional advice. However, the professional advice was too slow to be of any use, and basically the auction pack and solicitors on both sides, were saying that they could not confirm any access to the land in question. Had I gone ahead, combined legal costs would have been £800 for land, that neither side could prove details for and where, neither side was aware of a gate owned by someone else that could have locked me out. Solicitors really ought to be ashamed of themselves, the old chestnut that 'rural deals are often like this' is simply not worth £800 of anyone's money. Cooper and Tanner agents for sale, also provided scant details, no mention of who owned the property next door, therefore controlling access and gate, in fact they never mentioned the house next door at all on their particulars, not even as a means of locating the property they were selling. Coopers recommended Chubbs so just be aware that what they are interested in is their interests not yours.
